We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT sales and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining customer relationships, and developing and implementing sales strategies that align with our company goals.

Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets
  • Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives
  • Drafting detailed and accurate sales reports
  • Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices
  • Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products
  • Establishing a sales training program to train new sales resources
  • Mentoring & managing a Lead Generation team to achieve goals.
  • Prepare and present sales activity reports and strategy plans for management level reviews.

Requirements:

  1. Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  2. The candidate must have 7 plus years of experience in IT sales of which a minimum of 3 years should be in IT product/solutions sales.
  3. Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
  4. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  5. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  6. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  7. Proven ability to position products against competitors
  8. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
